Alli Gregg, RDN, LDN - Clinical Dietitian at Mayo Clinic

Alli Gregg learned at a young age that proper nutrition leads to success in all aspects of life. She accepted a full scholarship at The University of Alabama to compete as an elite 5k and 10k runner on the cross country and track team. Her debut 10k freshman year landed her on Alabaman’s All-Time 10k Performance List (#9). Graduating early with a degree and top honors in Nutrition and Food Science, Alli went on to complete her nutrition science training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Alli is responsible for improving and optimizing each patient’s nutrition status for the lung and liver transplant events at Mayo Clinic. She also represents the Nutrition Department as a committee member for Mayo Clinic Jacksonville’s Transplant Selection Committee. With a strong clinical knowledge base, Alli quickly earned Academic rank as an Instructor of Nutrition at Mayo Clinic’s College of Medicine. In addition to working with the transplant team, Alli serves as Mayo Clinic’s primary sports nutrition dietitian. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team in the sports clinic, Alli manages the nutrition plan of care for various athletes looking to improve their performance.

She is the two-time defending champion for the Donna Half-Marathon and also ran her first marathon last year in California where she just missed the Olympic Trials Qualifying time.

With a strong desire to share her nutrition knowledge, Alli’s next endeavor is starting her own performance nutrition practice.
